My Trip To Paris: Part 1 - Aux Champs Elysées

I know. Its been over a month. I've forgotten about my blogiversary, and I haven't replied to any comments....

Will some pictures from my trip make up for it :/?

I took TONS of pictures, so I am going to have to break them up into a few posts.

All of these pictures were taken on or around the Champs Elysées (sort of like times sqaure..) in Paris, France.

I couldn't believe the amount of expensive designer stores. They had beautiful window displays.

Phillipe Cardin (beautiful store! Very futuristic and modern)

The Champs Elysées had a lot of big stores, and even some that we have in Times Square in New York, like Virgin Records and Sephora. When I walked into the Sephora, there was a long red carpet leading down into a HUGE room. I guess I was there at exactly 12PM or something because all of the employees were lined up along the red carpet singing and dancing to Womanizer as I entered...it was halarious.

There was this really cool store called Promod, which exists in a lot of counties but not in the US. It has a great online store if you want to check it out here. It was similar to H&M with the style and the prices. So cute!

There weren't really any sales in that store, except for this 'super-cool' (as the french say) shirt which I got for 10 Euros (roughly $14)

I did come across one vintage store on the Champs Elysées, and as AMAZING as it was, it was way too expensive for me...but I took lots of pictures!

Though people always talk about Parisians and their impeccable style, I quickly realized that its true, but they all seem to have the SAME style. I can't tell you how many leather boots paired with skinny jeans (sometimes a skirt/shorts and tights) with an interesting wool peacoat and big triangular scarf I saw. Im not even kidding. Every shoe store was ALL leather boots and all the clothing stores were full of wool jackets. The first few stylish Parisians who walk by you amaze you, but after the fifty-sixth, its all the same. I mean, just look at this accidental picture i took of the ground...already 3 pairs of black leather boots!
