Future runway walker...

I got the job!
My local vintage store is having a Halloween fashion show on October 4th, and Belle and I will be models! We get to do a runway walk, pause for a picture, then walk back. It's the real deal though, because I think it's during some festival. Guess what I am?

oh yes.

Crawling towards the sun...

I hate how quickly the weather is changing. Though I normally love it when its room temperature outside, I can't handle it right now because I know it probably wont be hotter than this until May....Summer '09...counting down the days.
Not joking.

I am taking every chance I get to wear my florals before its too cold. I bought this skirt at Charlotte Russe last week. It was $5 in the clearance rack. Cha-chinggg, Luella knock-off. I don't care if it was a little late, ha.

The shirt I am wearing is vintage Sonia by Sonia Rykiel. Never heard of it, but it must have been big in the 70s-80s. I got this shirt when I got that pile of vintage designer loot from my grandma about 6 months back. There is a really nice detail on the sleeves.

Here is are the skirt and stockings close up. Sorry about the camera strap getting in the way =P

I am trying for a modeling gig to be in the Halloween Fashion Show for my local vintage store. I am going for a fitting on Friday with Belle. If I get the job, I get store credit. Wish me luck!

Finally, Israeli purchases Part 1

okay okay. I know its been like 3 weeks since I got back, so here are your long awaited photos of the unique dresses/rompery-thingys that I bought. They look like dresses when your legs are closed and from afar, but when you open your legs or look closely, the bottom is more like pants. They are about $7 each if you know where to look. They are all unique and made with different fabrics with different patterns and textures.

They are very very fun to jump around and dance in, and they are one-size-fits-all and strapless.
(yes Belle, I got you one of these, with a different pattern of course. I am finally going to give it to you tomorrow haha)

I also picked up a bathing suit cover-up for about $8. I would wear it normally as a dress but in the sun its totally see-though. Its great for the beach though!

What do you guys think?

Marc Jacobs ad?

When I was packing the day before I left Israel my friend snapped this photo of me when I wasnt looking and then walked around telling people that she just took the next Marc Jacob's ad picture, minus the Marc Jacobs clothes.

What do you think??

Oh, and by the way, I went on a shopping trip yesterday and got some great deals, so look forward to those pictures as well as Israel shopping pictures coming up soon.

School starts Thursday =[
