Okay, so maybe I didn't wear this outfit all day, and maybe I just changed into it for this post, and maybe my mom said I looked like a whore when I showed her the outfit, and maybe i look emo/depressed/angry/constipated in the photos, but I don't really care. (and yes, there is a random ass toilet in my backyard...and it has Jesus on it...the people who lived in my house before I moved there were crazy-catholics. there is Jesus and Mary stuff everywhere, and my family is Jewish; so we have been trying to get rid of all of it =P)
I've seen a lot of bloggers and people on the streets of NYC rocking the shorts-with-stockings look, so I thought I would try it for myself. I couldn't wear it to school due to my school's wacky dress code, and it was rather cold today. Thats the only problem with the look; in the winter your legs will get cold and in the summer they will get hot but in the spring you don't wear black stockings etc.
I was just fooling around, so I'm not sure if I really pulled off the look or not. What do you think??

i love ANTM but I would never go on a reality TV show because they manipulate what you say and take things out of context to add drama, and I wouldnt want that to happen to me, lol
:) That's an amazingly mature outlook, on ANTM; and I agree, the producers & the editors decide (on virtually every reality show) whether a person comes out a hero, or a villain...and it all is for the sake of ratings. I think you pull the look off nicely. It's a nice option to skirts on windy days. And I think it really works on rainy days. But then again my legs really don't get cold, I guess they're used to dealing with frigid temperatures!

I think you pulled off the shorts-with-tights look very well, but I think it could be improved with some additional edge..
Not like "whorish" sort of edge (my mom says these things too, urgh) but donning darker shoes (lace up oxfords or something with studs) and a heavier/longer cardigan would have pulled the look...more together. And btw: I think you'd be too good for ANTM!

Heads up: If someone sneaks into your closet/dresser tonight and takes all your clothes, making a pit stop at the washer and hamper to get things she will wash later, it's just me. =)
